The shooting of the Hindi remake of Sairat, Dhadak, has been wrapped up. The film features Ishaan Khatter, whose first film Beyond the Clouds hits the screens this Friday, and Janhvi Kapoor, in the lead.

The Marathi original fetched won praise for its treatment, and the performance of the lead pair -- Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar -- was lauded by the audience and critics alike.

Dhadak, which went on the floors in December last year, has been shot in the picturesque locales of Mumbai, Udaipur, Jaipur, and Kolkata. During the shoot of this film, Janhvi's mother, veteran actor Sridevi, passed away, but the debutante quickly returned to the sets after a short break.

The Karan Johar production, directed by Shashank Khaitan, is slated to hit the screens in July.
