October is an upcoming romantic film starring Varun Dhawan and debutante Banita Sandhu. Piku and Vicky Donor-fame Shoojit Sircar is making his comeback as a director, after a gap of five years through this film. The lead pair, who play the role of hotel management trainees, decided to promote the film in an unconventional manner.

The team of October organised a special event called October Feast for media people from across the country yesterday, in Mumbai. Varun Dhawan, Banita Sandhu, and Shoojit Sircar took the attendees on a tour around the hotel where they shot for the film, revealing the struggles of the employees working there and their not so luxurious life. Following that they hosted a grand meal where the October team exhibited the culinary skills they learned during the training days of the film.

This is the first time an Indian film crew has provided the media a chance to experience the everyday lives of their characters. The Varun Dhawan-starrer is slated to hit the screens on April 13.
