Hostel-fame Eli Roth’s next directorial, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, will hit the Indian screens in September. The film will be distributed in India by Reliance Entertainment.

The gothic fantasy horror film is written by Eric Kripke and is based on the novel of the same name written by John Bellairs. The film traces the life of a 10-year-old orphan Lewis Barnavelt who aids his magician uncle in locating a clock with the energy to bring the world to an end.

Featuring Jack Black, Kyle MacLachlan and two-time Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett, the film is produced by Mythology Entertainment and Amblin Entertainment.
