Post-Mersal, expectations are running high for Atlee. But there has been very little information available about his subsequent project. While a few said he would direct Vijay once again after Theri and Mersal, there's also buzz that he might do a Telugu film, with reports suggesting he is likely to collaborate with Prabhas. However, there's no official word on any of this.

The young director recently participated as the chief guest in a college event and, in reply to a query about his next, said he was going to make a Telugu film with a big star. He also requested that his fans wait for a few days for official confirmation as discussions are currently on. 

"Depending on the actor he chooses, it will be decided if it's going to be a bilingual or not," a source tells us.
