Composer Thaman, who made his Bollywood debut through Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again last year, has been signed once again for the director's upcoming film with Ranveer Singh, Simmba. 

Thaman took to Twitter to share the news with his followers. He wrote, "Signed my second film in Bollywood, Simmba, after the blockbuster Golmaal Again, with my dearest Rohit Shetty Sir, starring super energetic Ranveer Singh. It’s time for a musical roar!" It is notable that he only composed the title track of Golmaal Again, while the other songs were composed by three different music directors. Thaman hasn't confirmed yet if he will be the sole music composer for Simmba. So there might be other composers coming on board for the project. 

Simmba is the official remake of the 2015 Telugu film Temper, starring Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. The remake marks the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan. Madhavan was initially roped in to reprise Prakash Raj's role as the antagonist from the original, but he was later replaced by Sonu Sood due to a shoulder injury.
