Krishi Thapanda, a Bigg Boss Kannada contestant from Season 5, seems to have taken her time to carefully choose the right script with the right subject. This has led the Akira actor to go through 27 scripts, before finally signing one. Rupayi will be her next film, and it is to be directed by newcomer Vinod, who is also the hero of the film.  

The upcoming project, which will go on floors in April, will see the actor playing a middle-class girl. This film also has Krishi trying her hand at various stunts. She will be undergoing rehearsals for the next one week for these stunts before getting on the sets. More details will be revealed once the shooting begins.

Krishi, who is now five-films old, is currently awaiting the release of her sixth film, Kannadakkagi Ondannu Othi.
