Actress Sruthi Hariharan, who started her tinsel town career with Lucia, has always gone the extra mile in choosing the right scripts, and most of the time, she has succeeded. And the latest script to catch her attention is the upcoming film Tesla. Another reason for her interest in this is because the film is directed by Vinod J Raj, and will now be presented under Sruthi’s production house Kalathmika. A short film, The Last Kannadiga, was made under this banner, and if all goes well, this will be the first feature film to be presented under it.

The makers have revealed the first look of the actress from the film, and it seems like there is more to come as the actress has seven different looks in the film, which they plan to release one by one. As of now, the makers are gearing up for a teaser, which is slated for release on Wednesday.

The actress took to social media and expressed her excitement about starting in this film. She says, “The film has a female character (Tesla) in the lead role. Secondly, it is a science fiction thriller, and is very experimental in its narrative and idea. And lastly, and most importantly, it is a Kannada film.”

Meanwhile, Sruthi is gearing up for the release of Tarak in Kannada and her bilingual Indian anthology romantic thriller, Solo directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
