We all know that director Dileesh Pothan is quite a successful actor too. And, the latest report is that the actor will don the role of a god in Tovino Thomas-starrer Tharangam, that will hit the screens soon. According to the buzz, Dileesh's character in Tharangam is modelled on that of Jeff Bridges in the superhit crime comedy The Big Lebowski.

Speculations are rife that though Dileesh plays a god, he will sport a bohemian look for the character.

"The role has significance in the movie. It is through him that the entire drama unfurls," say sources close to the unit. It is also said that Dileesh's character has a comic tinge to it.

Tharangam, which has Tovino Thomas playing a disgraced cop, is being produced by Wunderbar films Mini Studio. The film with a comic narrative has newbie Santhy Balachandran and Neha Iyer in prominent roles. Directed by Dominic Arun, Tharangam will hit the screens soon.
