The shooting of Vikram-starrer Saamy 2, directed by Hari, is expected to commence in Chennai by the end of this month. The latest is that Prabhu and Soori have also been brought on board. Trisha, who was seen as Vikram’s wife in the first part, will reprise her role in this sequel, while Keerthy Suresh has been included for an important role. The film has Bobby Simha as the villain. Sources say that the major portions are likely to be shot in North India. 

Produced by Shibu Thameens, the film will have music by Devi Sri Prasad and stunts by Kanal Kannan. Soon as Vikram completes the Turkey schedule of Dhruva Natchathiram, it is said that he will join the sets of Saamy 2.
