Chinese actor joins Stallone's Escape Plan 3

The third instalment in the Escape Plan franchise will have Stallone and Dave Bautista joining forces again to break out one of their team members from an inescapable prison

Actors Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista will be joined by Chinese actor Max Zhang in Escape Plan 3: Devils Station. The film is the third instalment in the Escape Plan prison break franchise.

The new movie will have Stallone and Bautista's characters join forces again to break out one of their team members from an inescapable prison.

Escape Plan 3: Devil's Station has been directed by John Herzfeld, with the script penned by Miles Chapman and Herzfeld. Lionsgate will release the movie.

Zhang started his career as a stunt double and now works in Hollywood and the Chinese film industry as well. He has worked in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Grandmaster and Ip Man 3. His upcoming projects also include Pacific Rim: Uprising, and another spinoff from the Ip Man concept, in which he will again co-star with Bautista.

The other actors in the film include Jaime King, Lydia Hull, Devon Sawa, Harry Shum Jr, and Malese Jow.
