We had told you that Karu will be the quickest project in director Vijay's career. Now, we hear that Sai Pallavi has started dubbing for her character. "Post-production work has just begun, and we'll announce the release date soon," our source added. 

This Tamil-Telugu bilingual revolves around a mother's bond with her four-year-old daughter, and will also touch upon the issue of abortion. Also, Karu marks the actress' foray into Tamil. Initially, she was supposed to be a part of Kaatru Veliyidai and also Vikram's Sketch. However, those didn't pan out. 

Naga Shourya plays the male lead in Karu and Nirav Shah handles the cinematography.
