Bareilly Ki Barfi is just what I was looking for: Kriti Sanon

The actress says that Bareilly Ki Barfi, devoid of the trappings of urban Bollywood films, was an image-breaking project

Kriti Sanon says that an image-breaking project like Bareilly Ki Barfi, devoid of the trappings of urban Bollywood films, is just she was looking for after featuring in films like Heropanti, Dilwale, and Raabta. Kriti has already won some appreciation for her de-glam and spirited look in Bareilly Ki Barfi by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

"I think the response (to my de-glam role) has been great, and it's something I was yearning for. It takes one person to believe in you and the actor in you rather than the person they see on screen, where you're constantly playing glamorous roles. When someone believes in you like that, they try and show you in a different mould. It then becomes interesting for the actor," Kriti says.
