CR Manohar to remake Vikram Vedha in 3 languages?

A Sharadhaa

Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Vikram Vedha has become a blockbuster hit in Tamil; and now, it is set to be remade in Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Producer CR Manohar is said to be picking up rights for all three languages.

The movie was a hit because of the chemistry between the two lead actors, and even won over the international audience.

Apparently, a few rounds of discussion have been held with the producers and, if everything goes as per plan, Manohar will be getting the film’s rights sometime this week.

Our sources says, “Manohar is keen on remaking this film in other south Indian languages and Bollywood, and has been in talks with the production house Y NOT Studios for sometime now. Now, he is just waiting for confirmation from their end.”

Another interesting bit of news we hear is that Manohar is very keen on working with Sudeep for this action thriller remake in all three languages, but the terms of this are, as yet, unknown. The producer and actor are now working on Prem’s The Villain, which is currently being shot.

All will be decided once the producer confirms the status of the remake rights. And considering Sudeep’s existing commitments for at least three more projects, we are curious to know how and when he would find the time to do this movie in three different languages.

Vikram Vedha, directed by Pushkar and Gayathri also featured Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath and Varalakshmi Sharathkumar.
