A biopic will be made soon on tennis star Vijay Amritraj and we hear that it will cover his tennis career and film work. According to sources, shooting for the film will likely begin early next year, with the film to be produced by Prakash Amritraj, and Cinestaan Film Company. In a statement, Vijay said, "The love, compassion, dedication and hard work of parents under the most trying circumstances can make a child's dream come true. I feel humbled." Prakash Amritraj was quoted saying he "can't get any more excited about bringing this story to the big screen".

CFC chairman Rohit Khattar added, "Before Vijay, no Indian sportsman has been celebrated on the world stage in this manner. We are thrilled to help bring his incredibly inspiring story to the screen."
