Word has it that SS Rajamouli and Shankar are likely to attend the audio launch of Mahesh Babu's Spyder in the city today. But our sources neither confirmed nor denied the news. "Things have been kept as a surprise. But, just like in the Mersal audio launch where nobody knew Dhanush would come in as the chief guest until the last moment, we can't assure anything," says a source.

Reports also suggest that Suriya is expected to attend the event as well. Previously, it was rumored that Rajinikanth was supposed to come. However, an official confirmation is awaited. 

Spyder is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual starring Mahesh Babu as a stylish Intelligence Officer and directed by AR Murugadoss. Touted to be made on a budget of Rs 110 crore, the film also features SJ Suryah, Bharath and Rakul Preet Singh in important roles. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music of Spyder, which will release on September 27 worldwide.
