We had told you Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in the Tamil remake of Queen, Tamannaah for the Telugu version, and Parul Yadav for Kannada. The latest development is that Manjima Mohan has been approached to play Kangana Ranaut’s role for the Malayalam version.

A source says talks have been initiated with the AYM actress, but nothing is confirmed yet. "Manjima has wrapped up the shoot of Ippadai Vellum starring Udayanidhi Stalin. She's yet to give a nod," added the source.

While the Tamil and Kannada remakes will be directed by Ramesh Arvind, Neelakanta will direct the Telugu one. Earlier, Revathy was supposed to direct Tamil and Malayalam versions. Also, rumours were rife that Amala Paul was considered for the Malayalam remake but she didn’t take up the offer.
