Karthik Raju, who was last seen in Padesave, has teamed up with director M Purnanand for a new film. The film was launched today with directors Karunakaran, Dasaradh and Kranthi Madhav doing the honours.

“I’m happy to have signed my third film with Purnanand after a self-imposed break of one year. During this period, I refined my acting skills. This film is a socio-fantasy with a dash of romance and entertainment. The regular shooting has begun on Monday and this schedule will go on for 20 days,” says Karthik. He adds, “The story is unique and I’m confident that it will thrill the audience to bits.”

Produced by G Prathima under Wings Movie Makers banner, the untitled film has Mishti Chakraborthy of Chinnadana Nee Kosam fame as the female lead. Also featuring Nagineedu, Prudhvi and Gemini Suresh in other roles, the film has music by Siddharth and dialogues by Pradeep Aacharya.
