Reports suggest that Akshay Kumar, whose latest outing was  Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, will star in the Hindi remake of Ajith's Veeram, which was a village drama released in 2014.

It's being said that the film has been titled Land of Lungi (LOL), and is to be directed by Farhad (of Sajid-Farhad sibling duo), who was behind Housefull 3

It looks like the actor will be seen in a lungi throughout. Veeram is the story of an elder brother, who protects his four brothers and goes to any extent for their sake.

Land of Lungi will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, with whom Akshay has worked in eight films till now. Tamannaah is likely to play the female lead.
