Amy Jackson walks out of Queen remake

The remake of Queen in four south Indian languages, which has been in the planning stages for quite some time now, was supposed have Amy Jackson reprising Lisa Haydon's role in the original. However, the actress, who recently joined the sets of the TV series Supergirl, has apparently opted out of the project because of date clashes. 

We hear that the makers have now have finalised two actresses, instead of one, for the role. Shibani Dandekar and Elli AvrRam are said to have come on board, but it's still not clear which language each actress will be starring in.  

While Vikas Behl's directorial starred Kangana Ranaut, the remake will star Parul Yadav in the Kannada version titled Butterfly, Kajal Aggarwal will play the lead in Tamil, Tammannah Bhatia in Telugu and Manjima Mohan is being considered for the Malayalam version.

Ramesh Aravind, who is helming Kannada and Tamil remakes, recently completed shooting a few portions of the Kannada verison in Gokrana. It is said that he'll start his second schedule this Friday in France.
