Actor-director MG Srinivas has decided on the heroine for his adventure trilogy Birbal. After conducting a few auditions in Mysuru and other places, the filmmaker has roped in a fresh face Rukmini Vasant to play the female lead.

The filmmaker will start with Birbal - Case 1: Finding Vajramuni followed by Birbal - Case 2: Avaran Bitt Ivaran Bitt Avaryaru and Birbal - Case 3: Thuremane. Srinivas has roped in Rukmini for Finding Vajramuni, and will be sharing details about the character once the project goes on floors.

A classical dancer, Rukmini will be entering tinsel town with this film. The rest of the cast includes Achyuth Kumar, Sujay Shastry, Dattanna, Madhusudhan Rao, Aruna Balraj and Vineeth. The film made under Crystal Park Cinemas has Srinivas playing the role of a lawyer.
