Actor Gopichand, who awaits the release of Oxygen, has signed a new film to be directed by a newcomer Chakri. Touted to be a commercial entertainer, the film, produced by Radha Mohan, will be launched in November and the principal shooting will commence in December.

“Chakri worked as a script associate for Jr NTR-starrer Jai Lava Kusa. He has prepared an interesting script that suits the mass image of Gopichand. The film will be made on a lavish scale with top notch production values and technical team. Producer Radha Mohan is on the look out for the female lead and other cast and crew and is leaving no stone unturned to make it a visual splendour in his banner,” says a source.

An official announcement is awaited.
