CE had reported that Vijayaprasad directorial Ladies Tailor is being revived, with the movie finding a lead actress in Sruthi Hariharan. Now the news has been confirmed by the actress as well, with her tweet:

Vijayaprasad is happy to work with producer Prasanna after Neer Dose and he reveals details about the character to us. "Along with making a few changes to the script, I have reduced the weight requirement of the female lead from 120 kg to 80 kg,” says the director, adding, “Interestingly, this film will feature Sruthi as a Muslim girl called Shakila Bhanu. Ravishankar Gowda’s character will be named Eregowda and Suman Ranganathan will be Victoria in the film,"

The makers are expected to share more details once the project goes on floors.
