The team of Junga has been busy shooting in France and neighbouring locations. The latest we hear is that after this schedule, which will be completed by this end of the month, they will begin shooting in Chennai.

A source says important scenes with Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu will be shot in Chennai, adding, “Junga will be more interesting and wackier than Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. Fifty per cent of the film is complete.”

When asked why the film has been titled Junga, the source says, it can’t be revealed yet, but confirms that it’s not a sequel to Idharkuthane...

Produced by Vijay Sethupathi, the film has Sayeeshaa of Vanamagan fame playing the female lead. Dudley, the cinematographer of Chennai Express, is in charge of cinematography, while Siddharth Vipin is composing the music. The worldwide theatrical rights of the film have already been snapped up by actor Arun Pandian’s A&P Groups.
