Shalini Pandey, who has become the talk of the town after Arjun Reddy, is the front-runner to play the second female lead in director Sudheer Varma’s next.

“After seeing her performance in Arjun Reddy, Sudheer is keen to cast her as the second heroine to Sharwanand in his next, after actress Nivetha Thomas. He will meet her for a detailed narration in the last week of October and is confident of closing the deal,” informs a source close to Shalini.

Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsy, the film will see Sharwa in a dual role and will go on the floors in November. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old actress is currently shooting for her debut Tamil film 100% Kadhal, a remake of Telugu blockbuster 100% Love in Chennai.
