Director Kannan Thamarakulam, whose last project was Achayans, will cast Unni Mukundan and Anoop Menon in his next.

According to the filmmaker, the project will see the unique pairing of the duo. "The project is still in the discussion stage. I am in talks with Wamiqa Gabbi as well. More details, including the title, will be announced soon," he says.

While Kannan Thamarakulam has signed Jayaram for his other project Varu Irikku Kazhikkam, the director says he has decided to take up the Unni-Anoop project first. "As of now, I am doing this project first. The Jayaram-project will be after that," he adds. 

While Unni Mukundan has already worked with the filmmaker in Achayans, Anoop Menon, who was last seen in Velipadinte Pustakam, has worked with the director in Thinkal Muthal Velli Varae.
