PS Mithran, who is working on Vishal's Irumbu Thirai, is in talks with Udhayanidhi Stalin for a cop-based film. It's not clear if Udhay has given his nod yet, but our sources say he's almost signed on the dotted line.

Meanwhile, we hear the film has been tentatively titled 7 Kinaru, and will likely be produced by Thenandal Studios Limited. Rumours also indicate that Shraddha Srinath has been approached to play the lead. Official confirmation is awaited.

Udhayanidhi presently has Nimir directed by Priyadarshan in his kitty.
