According to sources close to the team, actor Santhosh Prathap of Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam fame has been roped in for an important role in Mr Chandramouli. It is also believed that the primary casting for the film is now over. Starring the father-son duo of Karthik and Gautham Karthik, the film is helmed by Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai director Thiru.

Produced by G. Dhananjayan’s Creative Entertainers and Distributors, Mr Chandramouli also features Regina Cassandra, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Satish, Mahendran and Agathian. The film will be an action thriller with Karthik in the role of a government official and Gautham playing a boxer. Mahendran has been roped in to play a successful businessman, while Agathiyan will play Karthik’s friend. Apparently, the film deals with a father-son relationship, before shifting gears into action territory.
