Vikram Vedha and Taramani re-released

Express Features

Owing to the strike by The Tamil Film Producers Council against Tamil Nadu Government’s local body entertainment tax, no new films have been released on October 13. Instead, theater owners in Chennai have re-released two recent critically acclaimed films — director Ram’s Taramani starring Andrea and Pushkar-Gayathri’s Vikram Vedha starring Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan.

While Taramani has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja with lyrics penned by the late legendary Na Muthukumar, Vikram Vedha has music by CS Sam.

We also hear that the number of shows for Ajith’s Vivegam, which completed 50 days of theatrical run on October 12, have also been increased.
