We had told you that Bala will direct Vikram's son Dhruv in the Tamil remake of the Telugu super hit Arjun Reddy. Vikram himself announced this earlier this week. Now the speculation is on about who will play the female lead in the film. It's being said that Shriya Sharma of Sillunu Oru Kadhal fame is one of the strong contenders. Other names being thrown around are Akshara Haasan and Shalini Pandey (who played the heroine in the original version). Buzz also has it that a newcomer is being approached for the role. However, official confirmation is awaited.
