Actor Scott Eastwood says he would like to play the adamantium clawed-mutant Wolverine now that Hugh Jackman has bid adieu to the popular role.

When asked which superhero he would most like to play, Eastwood says, “I mean, Logan! You gotta give it to Wolverine! Wolverine, all day.”

Logan was played by Hugh Jackman until very recently. First appearing as Wolverine in X-Men in 2000, Jackman went on to reprise the role in no fewer than seven follow-up movies, but bowed out from the Marvel franchise after Logan released earlier this year.
