Dhanush finishes shooting for Vada Chennai 

The film, reportedly the first of a trilogy, chronicles 30 years of a gangster’s life, with Dhanush playing the gangster

Vada Chennai, the third collaboration between Vetrimaaran and Dhanush, started its final shoot schedule last month and the latest reports suggest that the actor has finished shooting for his portions and will move to Maari 2 by the start of next month. The film has been shot in Kasimedu and Ennore areas and the latest photo that is doing rounds show Dhanush sporting a salt and pepper look.

Vada Chennai, reportedly the first of a trilogy, chronicles 30 years of a gangster’s life, with Dhanush playing the gangster. The film features Aishwarya Rajesh and Andrea as the female leads, with director Ameer in a cameo, and director Subramaniam Siva of Thiruda Thirudi fame playing an important role.
