Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker's action comedy worked tremendously well when they collaborated for the first time in the 1998 film Rush Hour, which led to a sequel three years later and a follow up in 2007. While the last film didn't do as well as the previous films in the franchise, that hasn't stopped fans from expecting the duo to grace the screens once again.

Close to ten years after the first film, Jackie Chan has hinted that Rush Hour 4 is on the cards sooner than expected. In a recent interview, the action star stated that, for the last seven years, he has been turning down the script, but recently, he has agreed on one. He also confirmed that the script will be ready by the end of the month and, if Chris Tucker agrees, the shoot could commence from next year
