Sivakarthikeyan released the first look poster of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's upcoming film, Sakthi on Thursday. To be directed by Mysskin's associate A Priyadaarshini, we hear the story will have a fair mix of thrill, mystery and action.

According to a source, the film will be set in Chennai and Pune. "As of now only Varalaxmi has been finalised. The team is looking out for a powerful antagonist. This film will also touch upon the contemporary issues faced by women. If everything goes well, we'll begin the shoot from October 15," adds the source.

While Balaji Ranga of Onaaiyum Aatukuttiyum fame is the cinematographer, CS Sam, who was the composer for Vikram Vedha, will be in charge of the music.
