Sathyan Anthikkad, whose last project was Joemonte Suvisesangal, is already working on his next. According to the director, Sreenivasan is scripting the project and discussions are progressing.

"It is too early to divulge anything about the project, other than the fact that it will be something one expects from me. It will be a fun subject, a family drama. Fahadh Faasil will play the lead and the remaining cast will be announced soon," says Sathyan.

The director says that they plan to start the shoot by January 2018. "Now, we are in the writing stage. I will soon announce the title and other details," he adds.
