Arya to play key role in bilingual Rajaratham

The first look of three important actors of the bilingual film written and directed by Anup Bhandari of Rangitaranga fame has been revealed. Known as Rajaratha in Kannada and Rajaratham in Telugu, both the versions were shot separately.

Produced by Ajay Reddy Gollapalli of Jollyhits Pvt Ltd, an international movie distribution and production company, Rajaratham is a romantic comedy with lots of fun and adventure, says its producer. He also revealed, “When we decided to produce a film, we wanted it to be unique. So we decided to bring in extremely talented writer, director Anup Bhandari, whose previous film Rangitaranga was not only was a blockbuster, but also shortlisted among 350 films for Oscars 2016. We wanted Nirup Bhandari and Avantika Shetty, the successful pair of that blockbuster movie in the lead.  In order to make it special we decided to bring in Tamil super star Arya to play a very important character in the film.”  

The first look poster was released on Monday. “The latest equipment and top Bollywood technican Manish Thakur are involved in the film making. Designers from Kaani Studios have put in their creative efforts to bring the concepts of the director to life. These stylish costumes of the actors are designed by Neetha Shetty,” director Anup added.

The team plans to release a solo poster of Arya revealing his looks in the film. Rajaratham has six songs composed by Anup Bhandari. The Telugu script is written by Abburi Ravi and lyrics are penned by Rama Jogayya Shastri, while the Kannada script and lyrics are by Anup Bhandari. The original background score is by Ajaneesh Lokanath and the cinematography is by William David. The film is produced by Jollyhits team Anju Vallabhaneni, Vishu Dakappagari, Sathish Sastry and Ajay Reddy Gollapalli.
