Express Features

Kamal Haasan will wrap up Sabaash Naidu, and then, commence work on the sequel to Indian, says a source.

Indian 2 was announced last week on a popular show hosted by the actor. The project, to be bankrolled by Dil Raju in Tamil and Telugu, will reunite director Shankar and Kamal after two decades. The source adds, "Kamal is planning to resume work on Sabaash Naidu from this month as he is now done with his TV commitments. Simultaneously, he's also looking to focus on Vishwaroopam 2, which is almost complete."

Indian 2, on the other hand, will start rolling from the first half of 2018. Kamal had also announced Thalaivan Irukkindran earlier this year, but there have been no recent updates on that project.
