Ambareesh, known as the ‘Rebel Star’ of Kannada industry, still retains the star power he has built up over the decades. Even today the actor has a screen presence and makes every special appearance in movies count. Here’s a news that should send ripples through his impressive fan base.

The actor, who has been doing cameo appearances, is all set to play a full-fledged role in his next project. According to our source, the filmmakers have offered him a storyline that sits well with his age and persona.

The film, which will have Nanda Kishore at the helm, is titled Ambi Ning Vaiyasayitho (Ambi, you are old) and will feature the senior actor in the title role, says our source. The movie is all the more special for two more reasons -- one, it is to be made under Sudeep’s banner Kichcha Creations, and the actor will be producing the film in association with Jack Manju, and two, Sudeep himself will make a guest appearance in the film.

Our source adds, “Ambareesh who plays his age in this movie has liked the plot line and agreed to do a full-length role in the film. Nanda Kishore, who will soon get busy with Dhruva Sarja’s Poguru, is also preparing for this project and the film will take off once everything is in place.”

While Nanda Kishore and Sudeep have always been a hit combination, now with Rebel Star in the picture, the trio is likely to set fire to the silverscreen.
