Vikram has rejoined the Chennai sets of Saamy Square, the sequel to his 2003 hit, Saamy. According to sources, the actor will be shooting for the next three weeks. Sources also indicate that Vikram plays a dual role in the project. There is no official confirmation of this yet.

Directed by Hari, the film has Keerthy Suresh in the lead. Trisha, who was also supposed to be part of the cast, walked out of the project earlier this year, and the makers are yet to find a replacement.
