Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly immersing himself in the art world in preparation for a role in his next film. The 36-year-old actor is currently working on an untitled film set in the art-world for online streaming platform Netflix, which will feature him in the role of an art critic.

The actor is apparently busy doing research to play the role in the film, which will be a revealing look at the art market in LA that involves collectors, gallerists, auctions and sales.

The film, will be directed by Dan Gilroy, and will have Gyllenhaal teaming up with his Nightcrawler co-star, Rene Russo.
