If everything had gone as planned, Mahesh Kumar’s directorial debut Ayogya would have been halfway through its shoot. But the project faced a hiccup with producers changing hands, and the team is now starting afresh.

Ayogya will now be produced by Crystal Park Cinemas and TR Chandrashekar. The film’s launch will be held today. It is notable that Chandrashekar is also the producer for the upcoming films Chamak, John Sena and Birbal.

Ayogya stars Sathish Ninasam and Rachita Ram, who will be seen as a lead pair for the first time. The film also features senior actor Saritha, who is known for her films with Rajkumar, and is returning to Kannada industry after a decade. Chikkanna, Rangayana Raghu and Ravishankar play prominent roles as well.

The film has music by V Harikrishna and lyrics by Yogaraj Bhat. Shooting for Ayogya will start on December 1, and all of it will be located in Mandya. First portions will be shot with Sathish and Rachita, with Sarita to join the sets later.
