She was last seen opposite Dhyan Sreenivasan in Goodalochana, and now Niranjana Anoop will be seen with Asif Ali in BTech where she will play a Bangalore-based girl. The actor is also doing Vysakh Udayakrishna's first production Ira.

"The character in BTech is something I am excited about, because the subject is a perfect package of everything, from comedy, family values to romance. It is an exciting script," says the actor, whose last film hit the screens a few weeks ago.

So, how has life changed post-Goodalochana? "Goodalochana was a great step. Though I have been in the industry for some time, it is post that film that I have begun to get lead roles and am working more with the young generation," says the actor.

Niranjana made her debut in Mohanlal's Loham. She was also seen in Ranjith's Puthanpanam.  She says it feels a lot different when she began working with the younger generation. "All the films I did were good ones. But, they were different. While it's a great learning experience while working with Mammootty and Mohanlal, it was a lot of fun on the sets of Goodalochana and Ira," she adds.

So, what about her role in Ira? Niranjana is very tightlipped about it. "I play Jennifer, who is the love interest of Gokul Suresh. I can't reveal more about it at the moment as my character is connected to the storyline," adds Niranjana.
