Ramachandran, who has worked in films such as Jigarthanda, Naan Mahan Alla and Sathuranga Vettai, gave a stellar performance in the recently-released Aramm. Speaking about how he bagged the offer, the actor says he got attached to the role after reading the script. "Gopi sir's vision, passion and hard work made me say yes to the film. He was quite clear about what he wanted from each of us. I am indebted to him for having given me such a role."

The actor is also all praise for the film's lead, Nayanthara. "Despite being a star, she's down-to-earth and extremely approachable. She encouraged me a lot on the sets," he adds.
