The trailer for the Sai Pallavi-starrer Karu, directed by Vijay, will be released by Prabhudheva on 18th November at 5 pm. The production banner, Lyca Productions took to Twitter to announce this. 

The film, which marks the Tamil debut of Sai Pallavi of Premam fame, is said to be the story of a young mother and her four-year-old child. Sam CS, who shot to the limelight with Vikram Vedha, has been roped in as the composer for this drama film, which also stars Naga Shourya as the male lead. 

It's worth noting that Vijay has directed Prabhudheva in last year's trilingual Devi.
