The shoot of the Raghava Lawrence-starrer Kanchana 3, is all set to begin in Chennai. Vedhika, who was last seen in Kaaviya Thalaivan, wrote on Twitter that she "is back on the sets of Kanchana 3."

Also featuring Oviya and newbie Nikita, the film, to be released next year, is being produced by Sun Pictures. Vedhika also has Vinodhan, co-starring Bogan fame Varun, ready for release.

Sources say Lawrence's regulars, including Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini and Manobala, are being retained for this installment of the franchise as well. We hear, the team has focused a lot on the flashback portions, which form a crucial part of the film.
