Veteran Telugu actor Jayasudha will be a part of Mani Ratnam's next multi-starrer, that already has Jyotika, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, and Arvind Swami on board. Sources say she was approached by the filmmaker himself for an important role, and she has almost signed the dotted line.

Jayasudha lost her husband six months ago, and this is her first project after the incident. She was last seen in the Karthi-starrer Thozha/Oopiri. Interestingly, she was also a part of the Mani Ratnam's Alaipayuthey.
