Dhananjay is yet to get out of Dolly

The actor is keen to find out what the audience thinks of his role as a villain in Tagaru

The teaser of Tagaru, which was released on November 7, set a new benchmark in the Kannada industry.

Suri’s upcoming directorial venture gives a glimpse of the gangster plot with some intense moments with Shivarajkumar, who plays a cop. But Dhananjay aka Dolly equally hogs the limelight. The actor, who has been featured in lead roles, is stepping into the shoes of an antagonist for the first time. He shares screen space with Vasishta Simha in the film. 

CE caught up with the actor, who is enjoying his new role. Even though he has already completed his portions in Tagaru, it will surprise fans to know, that Dhananjay is yet to get out of Dolly’s character.

“Even though I've completed my shooting, I am still trying to get out being Dolly, for the role has deeply affected me,” he says.

Dhananjay adds that he is eagerly waiting for the release of Tagaru,  and wants to see the audience's reaction before accepting his next project. “This is a new attempt, and I want to know the audience's reaction,” he says.
