Actress Lavanya Tripathi has been signed opposite actor-composer GV Prakash Kumar in the upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy 100% Kadhal, a remake of Telugu blockbuster 100% Love.

"Lavanya is on board. We were in talks with a few actresses (including Hebah Patel) but we felt Lavanya looks like Tamannaah from 2011. Hence, we went ahead with her. She will play a college student and has already begun getting in shape to play her part," says director Chandramouli. 

Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah Bhatia starred in the original, which was a blockbuster hit. 100% Kadhal will be predominantly shot in London with only 10-15 per cent of the film shot in India. The film also stars Nasser, Livingston and Sathish.
