Express Features

R Madhavan, who plays one of the leads in the action thriller Vikram Vedha, has said that he would love to take the film to Bollywood. The Pushkar-Gayathri directorial, slated for a July 7 release, will see Madhavan play an encounter specialist.

When asked why Vikram Vedha wasn't made simultaneously in Hindi like his last film Irudhi Suttru,  Madhavan reasoned that the film's North Madras setting wouldn't work in the North.  But he also said that he would love to take the film to Bollywood by changing the setting to Mumbai.

Produced by Shashikanth, the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Shraddha Srinath and Kathir.
