Amy Jackson, who’s awaiting the release of the Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0, is currently shooting for her Kannada debut, The Villain, opposite Shivrajkumar and Kichcha Sudeep. According to sources, the actress landed in Thailand a few days ago, and has been shooting in Krabi. Reports suggest that the crew was supposed to shoot in Manchester earlier, but this has been delayed due to unknown reasons. 

Meanwhile, Amy is also said to be a part of the Queen remake titled Butterfly, where she will play the role essayed by Lisa Haydon in the original. The Villain, said to be the story of a villager who aspires to become an actor, is directed by Prem. Mithun Chakraborty and Sruthi Hariharan (of Nibunan fame) form the rest of the supporting cast.
