It has been more than a year since Karthik Subbaraj's Iraivi released, and his next project with Prabhudheva is one of the most anticipated films of this year.

Meanwhile, his production vehicle, Stone Bench Creations, is expected to have a special announcement at a launch event for a new production this Friday. Stone Bench Creations already has two anthology films--Bench Talkies and Aviyal---to its credit, but this film, starring Vaibhav Reddy in the lead, will be its first foray into the feature film space.

Veteran directors Bharathiraja and Mani Ratnam, who are the chief guests for the event, will likely launch the film officially. In addition to this, word has it that the title for Karthik's film with Prabhudheva will also be revealed at this event.
